Pappas has completed two projects for us: Installation of a prefab bulkhead entrance to our basement (including steel entry door at the bottom of the stairs) and a re-roofing job.  We moved to Keene in November of 2020 and needed to find contractors to do a range of home improvements.  We stumbled onto Pappas when a different contractor agreed to do the bulkhead, then passed the project along to another contractor, who passed the project along to Pappas.  This handing off turned out to be our good fortune.  Pappas completed both projects one after the other in short order (it was winter and not the height of the construction season) and did the work exactly how you would hope a contractor would do it.  Their price quotes and payment terms were reasonable, they always did what they promised to do, they seemed to have significant experience doing this kind of work, problems and questions were immediately addressed, emails and phone calls were always returned promptly, and all communications from the company were honest and helpful.  On-site workers were always pleasant to talk to and patient with our questions.  We also found it helpful that they can do a pretty wide range of projects, so they have a good skill set.  If they aren’t the right company for a particular job, they will tell you, and even make excellent recommendations for who to contact to get the job done right.

With high demand and a shortage of skilled labor during the height of the building season, Pappas is likely to be stretched a little thin at times, like any good contractor.  However, the key thing is that they have demonstrated that they will never abandon or short-change their customers.  I highly recommend them.
